Everything at Love2shop is about to get very busy, very quickly
The next couple of months at Love2shop are going to be a bit of a frenzy. Literally thousands of businesses will realise they haven’t sorted their company Christmas gifts out and pick up the phone to Love2shop. It’s what we call the “peak” period. Our staff relish it, but it’s also a time of immense focus on taking and processing mammoth amounts of orders.
So, while we’re looking ahead towards Christmas, and the inbound call teams mull the virtues of putting Red Bull in the water coolers. It’s a great opportunity to give you a look at what else has been happening at Appreciate recently.
We’re launching a brand new recognition platform
Love2shop has launched Shout!, a social recognition platform aimed at making better workplaces by improving business cultures. Shout! gives employees a centralised place to show public appreciation for the value they bring to the workplace. Loyalty, productivity, teamwork and employee engagement are improved in turn.
Couple with an internal deployment at Park Group as the Park Stars scheme, Shout! debuted to the public at Employee Benefits Live ’18 in October.

We’ve brought new retailers on board
The most common feedback we get from Love2shop products users is that they want more choice.
This doesn’t surprise us in the slightest. For all of Love2shop’s flagship products, choice is our most commanding selling point. It’s what we do best, and we’re constantly working to bring even more choice to our products.
TK Maxx, Homesense, Peacocks, Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Ponden Home have joined the flexecash® network and the Love2shop Gift Card.
Our gift voucher’s offering has also improved, with DJM Music, Office Outlet, Wynsors Shoes, Topshop, Topman, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Outfit, Miss Selfridge, Evans, Burtons and Jaeger joining.
Our library of e-gift cards has also expanded dramatically. E-gift cards are available through the Evolve digital reward platform and the Love2shop.co.uk gift card exchange. The e-gift card offering brings new high street stores, online stores, restaurants, exclusive experiences and more to what can be accessed with a Love2shop Gift Card and our Evolve digital reward platform.
We’ve been doing our bit for charity and community
In March the Appreciate marketing team took a day out to represent Park Group at The Hive’s careers day. The Hive is a purpose-built youth facility in Birkenhead that provides thousands of young people in the area opportunities to build confidence in sport, music, professional skills, domestic skills and more in a safe environment.
We’re founder patrons of The Hive, so we were delighted to go along to their careers fair and share some information about the professional opportunities on offer at Park Group for youngsters on the Wirral.
Internally, we’ve also just started a new Park Community Group, a special team that identify and capitalise on opportunities for Park to give back. Last Friday was their first event, participating in the Macmillan Big Coffee Morning. We’re happy to report they managed to raise an incredible £1,116 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The end of a big year looms
2018 has been a landmark year for Appreciate. New products, new clients, new teams, new websites and new platforms have all come together. Our teams have responded and hit their straps, making 2018 an exceptional year for Love2shop. We’re looking forward to riding the crest of that success into our peak season.
